VOOPOO PnP replacement coils
Every coil on the VOOPOO PnP platform, from 0.2 to 1.2 ohm. All packs contain 5 coils and all are genuine VOOPOO.
Which coil does my device take?
Any VOOPOO using a PnP pod or tank takes these: Vinci, Drag S, Drag X, Drag 3, Drag 4, Argus, Argus Pro, Argus GT, Navi and Find Trio. They do not fit the ITO or TPP platforms.
Choosing by resistance
Higher resistance means a tighter, cooler, cigarette-style draw using less liquid. Lower resistance means more vapour, more flavour and higher power.
VM5 0.2 ohm, 40-60 W — maximum vapour, needs a powerful device.
VM1 0.3 ohm, 32-40 W — direct to lung, freebase liquid.
TM1 0.6 ohm, 20-25 W — direct to lung, more moderate.
R1 0.8 ohm, 12-18 W — mouth to lung, warmer.
R2 1.0 ohm, 10-15 W — mouth to lung, closest to a cigarette.
C1 1.2 ohm ceramic, 10-15 W — cleanest flavour, longest life.
TR1 1.2 ohm mesh, 10-15 W — mouth to lung with sharper flavour.
Mesh, regular or ceramic?
The letters tell you the heating element. VM, TM and TR are mesh: fastest heat-up and the most intense flavour, but they wear out first. R is regular kanthal wire: straightforward, good life, lowest cost. C is ceramic: the cleanest taste and the longest life, though it wicks more slowly.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a coil last?
One to two weeks for mesh at high wattage, three to four weeks for ceramic at low wattage. Sweetened e-liquids shorten all of them.
Why does a new coil taste burnt?
Almost always priming. Soak the cotton with e-liquid and wait 5 to 15 minutes before the first puff, longer for ceramic.
Can I use nicotine salts?
Only with 0.8 ohm and above. Below that the power is too high and the nicotine intake becomes excessive.
