VOOPOO PnP R1 0.8Ω Coils — Pack of 5

Genuine VOOPOO PnP R1 coils, five per pack. At 0.8 Ω and 12-18 W these sit between a tight cigarette draw and a full direct-to-lung hit — mouth-to-lung, but warmer and with a little more vapour than the R2.

R1 or R2 — what's the difference?

Both are R = Regular coils: standard kanthal wire, mouth-to-lung, low wattage, long life. The difference is resistance:

• R1 — 0.8 Ω, 12-18 W. Warmer vapour, slightly looser draw, a bit more cloud. Good with freebase e-liquid at 6-12 mg, and fine with 10 mg salts.
• R2 — 1.0 Ω, 10-15 W. Tighter, cooler, closest to a cigarette. The better match for 20 mg nic salts.

Coming straight off cigarettes on 20 mg salts? Take the R2. Want a slightly richer MTL vape? Take the R1.

What does "R" mean in VOOPOO's coil codes?

• R = Regular. Kanthal wire, higher resistance, low power, mouth-to-lung. Lasts longest, uses least liquid.
• VM = Vape Mesh. Mesh strip, sub-ohm, high power, direct-to-lung. Most vapour, fastest consumption.

Compatibility

Low wattage means the R1 runs on virtually every PnP device, including older ones:

• Any other PnP pod or tank

Fitting and priming

• Pull the old coil straight out — press-fit, no thread
• Push the new one in until it seats fully
• Drip a few drops of e-liquid into the cotton ports
• Fill the pod and wait 5 minutes
• Run it at 12-18 W — above that it burns fast

FAQ

How long does an R1 last?
Two to three weeks typically. Regular coils outlast mesh by a wide margin because they run at a fraction of the power.

Can I use nic salts?
Yes, best with 10 mg. At 20 mg the R1 can feel harsh at 18 W — use the R2 for high-strength salts.

Is 0.8 Ω sub-ohm?
No. Sub-ohm means below 1.0 Ω in marketing terms, but at 12-18 W the R1 behaves as an MTL coil, not a cloud coil.

Does the pack contain other resistances?
No — five R1 0.8 Ω coils.
