VOOPOO PnP VM5 0.2Ω Coils — Pack of 5
Genuine VOOPOO PnP VM5 mesh coils, five per pack. At 0.2 Ω this is the highest-power coil in the PnP range — built for 40-60 W direct-to-lung vaping with dense vapour and fast ramp-up.
Check your device can run it
This is the one thing to get right before ordering. The VM5 needs at least 40 W to perform. On a lower-powered device it will feel weak, taste flat and waste liquid — the coil isn't faulty, it simply isn't getting the power it needs.
Works well on: Drag S, Drag X, Drag 3, Drag 4, Drag S2/X2, Argus GT, Argus GT II, Argus XT, PnP-X pod tank — anything delivering 40 W or more.
Not suitable for: Vinci Q, Argus Air, Argus Pod, or any device capped below 40 W. For those, use the VM1 0.3 Ω (32-40 W) or TR1 1.2 Ω (10-15 W) instead.
If you're unsure, check your device's maximum wattage in its manual.
Which PnP coil do I need?
- VM5 — 0.2 Ω, 40-60 W. Maximum vapour. High-VG freebase, 3 mg. Heaviest liquid use.
- VM1 — 0.3 Ω, 32-40 W. Direct-to-lung, more moderate. Freebase 3-6 mg.
- TR1 — 1.2 Ω, 10-15 W. Mouth-to-lung, cigarette-style draw. For 20 mg nic salts.
Never run nic salts through a VM5. At 60 W with 20 mg salts the nicotine intake is dangerous.
Fitting and priming
- Pull the old coil straight out of the pod — press-fit, no thread
- Push the new one in until it seats fully
- Drip e-liquid into every cotton port until saturated
- Fill the pod and wait 10-15 minutes — longer than for higher-resistance coils
- Start at 40 W and work up in 5 W steps to find your preference
FAQ
How long does a VM5 last?
Around 1-2 weeks. Sub-ohm coils at 50-60 W wear faster than anything else in the range, and sweetened e-liquid will shorten that further.
My VM5 tastes weak — is it faulty?
Usually not. It's nearly always insufficient wattage. Check your device is delivering at least 40 W.
What e-liquid should I use?
High VG, 70/30 or above. Thin 50/50 liquid struggles to keep up at this power and causes leaking and dry hits.
Does the pack contain other resistances?
No — five VM5 0.2 Ω coils.
